I got rather a rude surprise in the form of a message from eBay telling me that as a non-payer I faced having my account closed? WHAT? Several nasty exchanges with the seller of merchandise that I'd already paid for, then followed. It turns out that he had lied to eBay in an effort to cheat them of their commission AND he was in the process of cheating me by re-listing the item in order to sell it to another sucker.

ARGH! Double ARGH!!
