Did I mention that I hate the way Microsoft dominates the personal computer marketplace?

So here, even as my time is dominated by a project (nanowrimo novel) using Microsoft Word, is a free alternative for reading documents.

Don't know how well it works, but Antiword claims to be able to read Word documents for those lucky enough to be using a non-Windows computers.
