Developing World Laptop
Boingboing has a writeup of a really unique project. It seems that there is an ongoing effort to develop a laptop for LESS than $100. that is to be made available to every child in the developing world.
As part of the effort to make that computer as economical and available as possible, it's to be powered by a hand-crank and it's OS will be LINUX!
